Finishing panel and building the small ones
Today I have finished the old view large panel for now as the detail will be added once the panels are all connected together. This includes adding people and finishing the edges as I need to make sure the drawing at the edge is aligned with the image on the next panel along. I have also made the smaller panels as I have now got a bit more wood to build with.

Second large frame started
Today I have started the old view of the town which is the opposite side of the street so there is a lot of taller buildings in the foreground. I have not completed it but made a start.

Progress so far
As I am waiting for an order of wood to arrive and complete the structure I have decided to start on the raised relief and tone on one of the larger panels of the modern scene.

London trip
Today we went to London to primarily go to the Victoria and Albert museum to look at the exhibitions Transformation: Gormley to Gaga and British design 1948 to 2012. One of the objectives whilst there was to try and get ideas for our final show in terms of planning out how we want to set it out and little things like labelling our work. Whilst at the V and A I took the opportunity to revisit the RIBA exhibition as new material was added. I also went to other local museums like the science museum and the natural history museum.
