RIBA Sterling Prize Shortlist 2014

The nominees have been shortlisted down to the final few, competing for the most prestigous prize in Architecture. Many of the nominees are of International fame not only known too those who study, read or take an interest architecture but by the masses. Here are the shortlisted buildings and their designers;

  • Everyman Theatre in Liverpool by Haworth Tompkins,

  •  Library of Birmingham by Mecanoo,

  •  London Aquatics Centre by Zaha Hadid Architects,

  •  London Bridge Tower (The Shard) by Renzo Piano Building Workshop,

  •  London School of Economics - Saw Swee Hock Student Centre by O'Donnell + Tuomey Architects

  •  Manchester School of Art by Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios.
